Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information QuickTap Audio (the “App,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the App.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a basic identifier and your email from that provider.
Content you add: audio files, photos, board and tag names, and profile details you choose to provide. Cloud files are stored on our storage provider so the App can sync and share them.
Basic usage and device data: information needed to operate the service, such as log data and error reports. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide core features (creating boards, linking NFC tags, storing and syncing audio), to authenticate you, to enforce purchase allowances and pack expiry, to respond to reports of objectionable content, and to keep the App secure and working.
4. Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made so we can unlock features, but we do not receive or store your full payment details.
5. Sharing and Community Content
Content stays private to you unless you choose to publish or share it in the Discover area. When you share, the content and your public profile name become visible to other users. You can stop sharing at any time.
We share data with service providers (such as cloud hosting and storage) only as needed to run the App, and with authorities where required by law.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, boards, NFC tag links, and uploaded cloud files from our systems. Some minimal records may be retained where required by law.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can access and update your profile in the App, control what you share, block other users, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data; contact us to make a request.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please reach out through the contact option provided in the App or on the App’s store listing page.
